GREEN by DESIGN

Your considering building your new dream home, now it's time for the perfect plan. We will help you turn your pictures, sketches, magazine clippings, and ideas into a complete set of construction drawings. If you desire, we can also supply a smaller, economical set of "builders plans". We work with you to bring your ideas and dreams to life. We design your home using 3D Architectural software, that allows us to show you, near picture quality renderings, of your plan as it is developed. We offer two programs, the PREMIER-PLAN and the BASIC-PLAN. With both plans we will include the options for building your home GREEN. We encourage you to browse the BUILDING GREEN section of our web-site for a list of reasons to consider building green.


This option is for those who just need a basic set of plans.
(check with your architectural review committee, bank, and/or contractor before selecting this option.)

BASIC PLAN:
We develop a builders set of construction drawings. The things you will need to obtain bids, order materials, and build your home. 6 plan sets included

Preliminary (Design) Phase:
During development, we post your plan on your personal, password protected, web page, along with screen shots of the floor plans, 2 interior views, and exterior elevations. 2 revisions to your plan are include in the cost. Additional revisions may incur an additional fee.

Finished Construction Plans Include:
Foundation and Footing Plan
All relevant Floor Plans 1st floor, 2nd floor, etc.
Basic Roof Plan
Wall Sections and Details
Exterior Elevations
Specifications.

Window Schedule
Cabinet Schedule

COST:
$.75 per square foot under roof. Under roof includes Living area, plus the garage,  covered porches, and finished storage. Under roof does not include decks, open-below areas, and unfinished storage areas.

For example, a 2,000 square foot home, with 20' x 24' 2 car garage and 18' x 6' front porch would be 2588 sq ft and cost $1,941.00, if the plans are completed with less than 2 revisions. 

$800 deposit required.
Remaining balance due on delivery of construction drawings.

 

PREMIER PLAN:
We develop a comprehensive architectural set of construction drawings, with a complete set of specifications. Every thing you will need to obtain bids, order materials, and build your dream home. 10 plan sets included. If you select steel framing or ICF exterior walls we include required cut lists and a computer disk to control a SCOTTSDALE steel stud roll-former for the automated production of framing members.

Preliminary (Design) Phase:
During development, we post your plan on your personal, password protected, web page, along with beautiful 3D renderings that let you really see how your home will look. Renderings will have sample furniture layouts; to help you establish traffic patterns, and the layout of doors, windows, electrical outlets, etc. If you haven't yet designed a home with the aid of 3D renderings, you are in for a fun and rewarding experience. A picture really is worth a thousand words. 6 revisions to your plan are include in the cost. Additional revisions may incur an additional fee.

You will also receive 2 CD's:
CD-1 contains 3D color renderings of room views, exterior views, and a set of printable plans.
CD-2 contains a complete set of your plans in CHIEF ARCHITECT, with a viewer.

$1000 deposit required.
Half of the remaining balance due when floor plan is accepted.
